MISSION STATEMENT
"We are a team - a family - coming together to help Clayton Matthew Treska, clinically diagnosed with advanced stage four testicular cancer, maintain focus through high-dose chemotherapy and achieve his dream of completing the Hawaii Ironman Triathlon in June 2010. Surrounded by family and close friends, we firmly believe he will have the strength to push through this challenge and reach his goal. Through this process, we - as a team - aim to show others that, with a little love and unyielding belief in a dream, you can overcome adversity in any form. We believe that by bringing people together, we can increase awareness of our own inherent capability to overcome obstacles, bring hope and empower others in need and, in turn, give back what was freely given to us.
Having cancer is an opportunity, not a tragedy. We are turning lives around everyday. Even though Clayton Treska of TEAM TRESKA was diagnosed with recurrent stage-four cancer in July. His family and friends were not deterred and came together to make a dream to come true, and help thousands in the process. Despite 7-8 months of cancer treatment, Clay and the team are going to complete the Hawaii Ironman June 5th, 2010.
We want you to join our family and spread the word "cancer can do a lot of damage, but will never corrupt your mind, heart, or ability to overcome adversity."
